The staff at F.I.T. Boot Camps / F.I.T. Strength & Conditioning is unlike the staff you’ll find at your local gym, health club or fitness center.  Our staff is comprised of nationally-certified fitness professionals who possess not only extensive education in the field of health & fitness, but also have extensive experience in helping others achieve incredible results.  This ensures that your trainer at F.I.T. will have the knowledge and experience to implement a program that will get you great results without risk of a compromising injury.

Corey House: Owner/Founder F.I.T. Strength & Conditioning

Profile CoreyCorey is the owner, founder & CEO of F.I.T. Strength & Conditioning LLC, based in Albany, NY.  He founded the company in 2008 with a vision of delivering the highest level of fitness training available in the Capital Region, allowing both athletes and the general public to reach their maximum potential.  That vision has become a reality.

Over the past 5 years, Corey has had the opportunity to work with hundreds of clients to help them reach their weight loss, health and performance goals.

Personal Info: Corey attended State University of New York College at Cortland where he earned a degree in Physical Education with a minor in Exercise Science, and then earned his Masters Degree from the University of Phoenix.  In his spare time, Corey enjoys spending time with his soon-to-be-wife Maree Chiera, playing with his Labrador Retriever Bernie, having a medium-rare NY Strip steak at 677 Prime and working out at Albany F.I.T. with Maree.

Corey is backed by a highly-educated, certified and experienced staff of trainers with a wealth of knowledge and eagerness to help the residents of the greater Capital Region experience elite fitness success.

James Kennedy: Assistant Manager/Trainer, Albany F.I.T.

James ProfileCertified by the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), James has been training at F.I.T. since February 2011, helping hundreds of members realize their fitness potential.

James earned his Bachelors Degree from the State University of New York at Brockport, where he was a state champion in both Track & Field and Rugby.  As a coach of Track & Field at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, James led his athletes to multiple personal and school records, national qualifications and even NCAA All-American status!

As an assistant manager and transformation specialist, James excels at helping members of Albany F.I.T. experience personal success in their journey to a healthy lifestyle.

James prides himself on working to his formula of getting the greatest return on his fitness efforts for the least time invested.  James enjoys everything outdoors and loves being able to run, climb, jump and swim anywhere with his family of two dogs, one wife!

Cassie Kennedy: Certified Fitness Trainer, Albany F.I.T.

Cassie ProfileAs a member of F.I.T. since May of 2011, Cassie holds Personal Training Certification from the American College of Sports Medicine.  She is a graduate of Cornell University, earning a degree in Nutrition and Exercise Science.  While at Cornell, Cassie served as an Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach, working with several Division I athletes to improve their performance.

Cassie also has experience as a figure competitor in the Organization of Competitive Bodybuilders.

Cassie is a strong advocate of local, organic and sustainable foods.  Her depth of knowledge in nutritional biochemistry and exercise physiology make her a valued resource at F.I.T.

When she isn’t in the gym training members of F.I.T., Cassie can be found training dogs and adventuring with her husband, James!

Jordan Martinez: Certified Fitness Trainer, Saratoga F.I.T.

Jordan ProfileThe “Transformation Specialist” for Saratoga F.I.T., Jordan possesses certification from the International Sports Sciences Association and attended Belmont University where he studied Exercise Science.  While at Belmont, Jordan competed at the Division I-A level in Track & Field and cheerleading.

After attending Belmont University, Jordan served at the University of Idaho as a Strength & Conditioning Coach, helping lead the Vandal football team to a victory in the 2009 Humanitarian Bowl; the first for the University in over a decade.

Jordan has worked with Division I-A athletes competing in football, soccer, basketball, volleyball, cheerleading, golf, baseball, track & field and tennis; as well as athletes currently competing in MLS, MLB, NFL, NBA and the Canadian and Italian National Track & Field teams.

He brings his experience, results-oriented attitude and love of fitness to an already strong F.I.T. team where he can push his clients further, both mentally and physically, to help them achieve their goals.

When not training at F.I.T., Jordan enjoys traveling and spending time with his two dogs!

Bryan Mannarino: Certified Fitness Trainer, Clifton Park F.I.T. & Albany F.I.T.

BryanMProfileAs a member of the F.I.T. Training Team since October 2012, Bryan holds a Master of Science degree in Exercise Science from CAL U PA and a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from the State University of of New York College at Cortland.

In addition to being certified by the American College of Sports Medicine, Bryan is also employed as a Teaching Associate for the American College of Sports Medicine.  As a Teaching Associate, Bryan instructs national workshops for the ACSM Certified Personal Trainer credential, helping many local fitness enthusiasts on their pathway to becoming a successful fitness professional.

While his experience ranges from management in both corporate & medically-based fitness facilities, to fitness education, Bryan’s expertise is functional movement and corrective exercise.

Bryan believes exercise is like a house; you must first start with a solid foundation before you begin working on the “advanced” details.

When he is not training clients & athletes at Albany & Clifton Park F.I.T., you can find Bryan running and/or counseling prospective students at Excelsior College in Albany, NY.
